After Samsung Galaxy M10, Galaxy M20, and Galaxy M30, the company is working on fourth device in the Galaxy M-series, which is dubbed as Galaxy M40. Now Samsung is likely to launch the Galaxy M40 smartphone early next month for nearly Rs 25,000 in India. Featuring a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and a triple camera system, Galaxy M40 -- the India-first smartphone in the popular Galaxy M series -- is set to be the most powerful offering in the series, industry sources told IANS on Monday. At present, the three Galaxy M series smartphones are powered by the company’s in-house Exynos processor. Samsung is also likely to introduce some flagship features on Galaxy M40, starting with the “Hole-in-Display”, a technology that’s currently found on the South Korean tech giant’s flagship S10 series, according to IANS. As per earlier leaks, Samsung Galaxy M40 will be powered by Snapdragon 6150 SoC, which is the codename of the Snapdragon 675 processor. The phone will have a 6GB RAM and it will run Android Pie out of the box, possibly based on Samsung's own One UI software. The phone will feature a 128GB of internal storage and it is highly likely to come with other variants as well. It is also rumoured to be backed by a 5,000mAh battery and it will be equipped with a Super AMOLED display.
