It's just about a month that the South Korean smartphone manufacturer, Samsung, introduced three new M series smartphones in India. The phones are Galaxy M10, M20 and M30. It now looks like Samsung is in no mood to stop just here. The company has seemingly started working on the Galaxy M40. By a new leak, tipster Ishan Agarwal has hinted at the coming of the Samsung Galaxy M40. Notably, Samsung is yet to confirm the smartphones as of yet. Agarwal has also revealed the model number of the alleged Samsung Galaxy M40. It is SM-M405F/DS. This model number clearly hints that the Galaxy M40 is in the developing stage. It also suggests that the phone has also been certified by some of the certification websites. This possibly hints that the Samsung Galaxy M40 is close to its official launch date. It looks like with Samsung's upcoming M series phone the company will be looking to take on the likes of Redmi Note 7 Pro and upcoming Realme 3 Pro. Lately, Samsung Galaxy M40 was spotted on Wi-Fi Alliance portal which revealed some of the specs details of the smartphone. WiFi Alliance portal also revealed the same model number as the new leak -- SM-M405F. The certification site reveals that the M40 will run Android 9 Pie - possibly based on Samsung's own One UI software. Rumours suggest that the Samsung Galaxy M40 will be a lot different from the M30, launched recently. Looks like the M40 will be different from the M30 in terms of screen size and also battery. To recollect the Galaxy M30 comes in two variants - one is 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage for Rs 14,990. Second is the 6GB/128GB version which costs Rs 17,990. The phone comes in two colours -- gradient black and blue. Galaxy M30 specs As far as the specs are concerned the Galaxy M30 sports a large 6.4-inch Super AMOLED FHD+ display with screen resolution of 2340x1080p. For the M30 Samsung uses its Infinity-U panel which is basically a U-shaped waterdrop notch on the top of the display. The notch equips the selfie camera. On the hardware front the Galaxy M30 is powered by 1.8GHz octa-core Exynos 7904 chipset paired with up to 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. The phone uses a large 5,000mAh battery and Samsung claims the phone is capable of offerinf a two-day battery life in single charge. The Samsung phone supports up to 15W fast charging over USB Type-C. On the camera front, the Galaxy M30 comes with triple cameras on the back panel and single of the front. On the rear side the phone includes a 13MP primary camera with f/1.9 aperture, a 5MP wide-angle camera and third is a 5MP camera for depth sensing. On the front, the Galaxy M30 gets a 16MP front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture.
