Is there a way to have call logs grouped together. Currently if I call or receive multiple times from same number it is shown multiple times separately for each call.

its already have this, no need to do any extra settings, if you get from same number it grouped together

I do not see it, I have multiple incoming and outgoing and missed calls from same number within an hour and they all show as separate entries like the old Symbian phones.

The usability of one core ui is pathetic to say the least

do one thing go to settings >general Management >reset>reset settings

I did not change anything so what is the point of Reset, I have been using this samsung brick for a week only

This is not an issue of Core UI. I use a Galaxy M31s and it also has One UI Core. See this
