I have been told by the samsung customer care on phone call that keeping the mobile in safe mode for about an hour is going to repair the mobile by itself.
 Is it true??? 
I don't think so.
 The mobile is regestering touches at wrong places some times. That is when I touch at one place it is taking input at some other place below the place I actually touch.

Safe mode can be used to check if the issue is caused due to any 3rd party app installation.
Safe mode boot the device with factory-installed apps.
