If you can find gcam for m51... then 10 to 30x zoom is possible... but the picture will not be clear as it doesn't have telephoto lens !

M51 doesn't have any telephoto lens to have optical zoom to get good quality on M51's video recording...
In m51 it's digital zooming made by software so there would be lack of clarity ..
Can't do anything via software updates
