Samsung has started rolling out the March 2019 security patch for the Galaxy M20, ahead of all the flagships. The M20 began receiving an update with software version M205FDDU1ASB4 two days back, with the over-the-air release weighing 368 MB. The company hasn’t published what’s included in the March SMR on its Android Security Updates pageyet, so we currently don’t know what security fixes are there in the new security patch..

The changelog lists camera stability improvements as well, but we are not sure how substantial these changes are. The update also adds some bloatware in the form of the Amazon shopping app, but, thankfully, it can be uninstalled completely after the update. Amazon is the exclusive partner for the Galaxy M series in India, which should be the reason behind Samsung pushing the online retailer’s app.
