nearby share is useless in front of wifi direct. Nearby share is based on phone contacts + turn on bluetooth + GPS. will consume more battery.

But i have to use it for sometime for some 10-15 mins or less so it doesn't matter

It matters when you have better option with simplicity. Nearby share is useful for a device without wifi direct.
