Very disapponted by the samsung M30S motherboard failure within one and half year of purchase. with no reason motherboard has gone and the customer service personnel suggesting me to replace the same for Rs.9000+ .. How can I trust the new motherboard when the original handset motherboard got crashed within 18months of purchase. horrible experience with Samsung.
the same thing happened with my Samsung a50s, it auto-restart and stuck in the Samsung logo. I visited the service center they told me the same motherboard failure, need to replace it. which will cost 9k. no option went for a new one (purchased Samsung m51).
Unfortunately static electricity too causes frequent uneven restarts which appear like motherboard failure. Just as an experiment, try to switch off device and remove case and put it on floor for half hr to let static electricity go off and restart the phone to see if restart issue is gone.
This won't help in case motherboard failed completely but if it helps in case frequent restarts/hang caused due to static electricity.
Manufacturers do consider ways to discharge it without affecting mobile but people on and off always face issues in mobiles due to static electricity.
Static electricity if not discharged can cause frequest restarts of mobile if it gets passed inside of mobile internals. Recently some new tech being investigated to utilize this to charge battery also. There is no proper fool proof evidence but I heard some motherboard failures caused due to non withdrawal of static electricity for long time in mobiles.
Over years I have seen some random mobile restarts fixed after placing it floor by switching off as it discharges static.
