Clear the data of the app and restart your device then open it back.

Noticed few cases like this... try to clear the data and cache of My Files. Probably it will be okay. Go to settings >Apps > Search my files > Storage > clear data and cache

Hi did the issue resolve? Sometimes there could be an issue in not enabling storage permissions. Let me know ifnit worked
