I don't understand why Samsung has been downgrading things in the budget segment, from using 2-3years old chips to slower processors and high prices...

● DESIGN ● 

A little bit boxy design, yet the same U shaped notch in 2021 feels outdated like anything... and the boring design pattern that we see in the lower budget devices like Samungs own M12, REALME NARZO series or you can say that the Samsung M42 has the same look ...

One good thing here is that we get a " Side mounted fingerprint sensor " ....

● PROCESSOR ●

M31 has a Exynos 9611 while M32 has a G80 which is a downgrade in every way possible even in the GPU rendering part. The CPU is slow, efficiency is low means more battery consumption, old architecture and cores bcz of 12nm chip.

● CAMERAS ●

M31 has a 64MP Isocell Sensor which is great in every aspect. M32 continues that thing. 

The front camera has been reduced to 20MP from the 32MP found in M31....

The MACRO & DEPTH have been reduced to 2MP SHOOTERS from the earlier 5MP .

Camera features like Super slow motion, Hyperlapse , Front slow motion ... as the SoC can only render slow motion upto 240fps.

● DISPLAY ●

The display of both the devices are same FHD+ panels, Super amoled Display.... 

Samsung may have done it with a 90hz panel and 800nits brightness which is not disclosed yet..... so that might might be the only positive side.

● GPU ●

The GPU in the G80 SoC is a overlooked one and hard-core usage results in heating ( you can check every other phone of the G80 ) and Samsung devices are known for heating.... The GPU can rn games but not as good and optimised like in Exynos 9611 or even the phones with G95 SoC in this segment.

● Battery ● 

Same 6000Mah battery ( 5820 typical ) and as of now Samsung has been giving 15watt charger for even the S20FE and A52 ..... we might see the same charger here too ... So yet again no upgrade here ....

● PRICE ● 

Since Samung has always launched the M32 series in India with a starting price of 14999 for the 64gb variant, 16999 for the 128gb and 18999/- for the 8GB RAM variant that will come after 2months for sure.

G80 SoC is a cheaper processor that powers the phones that come under the 10k budget .... but the pricing is still going to be around say 14k-18k ..... 

● MY VERDICT ●

I feel the employees at Samsung need a break from life ... Samsung rather than launching an array of phones which are rebranded devices of their own lineups , Samsung should focus on what really matters ... like a better processor , a 90hz panel across the mid range which is common now , should provide camera features like Super Slow mo, Hyperlapse, Full Pro Mode, Fast charging tech.... and most importantly they should release less devices with more potential like in the year 2019-2020 they launched the bestseller A50 series , A70 was an upgrade , A80 had a great design was more premium and great cameras where as the M series was siting just underneath the A series .... 

M32 might be a hot or a miss from Samsung ...

The CPU of G80 is more power efficient compared to Exynos 9611, as a result you can see Realme Narzo 20 gives better battery backup compared to M21 or M31 although having Ips display, 12 nm processing power.....and they atleast gives us full one ui experience...M32 has secured folder with Knox secuirity, that's why we faced that hardware downgrades

12nm processor is not as efficient as a 10nm one. And I am not a believer of numbers but exynos 9611 fares better than g80

M32 supports 60fps settings in BGMI....and G80 gives better battery backup than 9611

9611 also supports HD settings and I play it without any issues.... even Smooth and Extreme settings is highly playable that's the best setting to play with .... Bro plz 12nm processor giving better battery than a 10nm one is a joke .... and that too with a 90hz panel

Well battery backup isn't everything... and I hate Chinese brands ... even if they sell SNAPDRAGON 888 at 10k I won't buy ..... I'll rather prefer A Samsung, Nokia or Moto device other than cheap brands like Realme Redmi or etc ....

I'm happy with the battery backup I get .. generally I use 10hrs a day .... 8-10hrs of screen on time with almost 15-20 % battery remaining at night.... and at night I don't use the fast charging option to charge ... So yes My battery is healthy and is sufficient enough ....

Helio G80 is a better architecture than 9611 and faster GPU.
GPU clock speeds are higher on 9611 but still checkout gaming performance yourself you will get to know the GPU rendering capabilities of MaliG52.

Cortex A75 is faster than A73 you will get around 10 to 15% improvements in performance in G80 when compared to 9611.

9611 is better in terms of power efficiency.
