Samsung is not addressing the hotspot issue with M31. I have lenovo laptop running windows 8.1 which detects all the other hotspots from phones like oppo, Mi. But it fails to detect my M31 hotspot. Phone hotpot is getting detected by other phones but not by my laptop. Rebooting, driver update everything tried with no results.Not understanding what is the issue. Have returned to samsung after using multiple other brands and this is what I get. Worst part is samsung is not even addressing the problem. Bluetooth tethering works but it is very slow. I require internet while working in hospital during duty hours and its a real handicap without hotspot. Never trusting samsung again....Good that I did not waste loads of money on their flagship phone!!

- To configure the hotspot follow the steps:- Settings>Connections>Mobile hotspot and tethering>Mobile hotspot>More option (three dots)>Configure mobile hotspot>Configure mobile hotspot and tap on save.
After performing above steps If the issue still persist kindly send us the screenshot, videos and error log file with in 15 minutes of issue occurrence through error report section from Samsung Member Application:- Samsung member application > Click on get help > Send feedback > Error report, so that we can help you out to solve the issue.
why you give same type answer every time when someone ask about m31 hotspot issue? this is a bug in m31 and m21 and also in F41 so please solve this bug and don't give useless advice.
