As title suggests, "Location" toggle is automatically activated when I am connecting to a WiFi network. It happens on some networks only. Is there any settings that needs to be changed? Or any system app needs to be killed?

I have tried Factory Reset, but with no avail. Any help is appreciated.

It might be due to a app that gets connected when you switch on the WiFi and looks like you have given it permission to enable the Location services.
pls check that

None of my downloaded apps have Location permission (Except Google Maps). All the apps given in the screenshot are system apps.

Go the app info of the apps those are using location along with wifi and see the permission section and turn off the location option from it.

Is there any "WiFi" related permission? I don't think Android has any WiFi permission explicitly. I might be wrong.

I didn't say about WiFi related permission . I told you to turn off the location.

WiFi scanning was on. I will check for couple of days. If GPS doesn't spring back, I will mark this as "Accept Solution"
