Hey, I bought the Samsung M31s pretty early when it first came out. It's been running superb for me, and I've been really enjoying it, has almost been a year. However, a problem struck yesterday, when my phone stopped charging.
I, as usual plugged my phone in at night, and went on with my daily tasks. But when I come back, I notice the phone isn't charging. The plug is on, the socket is well connected, bit still it ain't charging. I fiddled with it for a bit, but couldn't get it to work. Thought my charger was broken, so I borrowed a 3rd party charger from my friend and went on with it.
The next day when I tried charging it with another [SAMSUNG] charger, 15watts, it did show up that it was charging, but after a small while it could say it's no longer charging, then I'd have to plug it out and put it back in to get it running.
Then this evening, I thought to try my own charger again, the one I got with the phone, I plugged it in, and surprise, it was charging.
However, I noticed something..
Everytime the phone's battery would go up by 1%, the phone would say the charger's disconnected, and in about 30seconds, without me touching the phone, the charging animation would show up telling the phones charging.
It happened for the entire 40% I charged my phone for. I didn't do any longer being afraid I might ruin my phone.
Is this a software bug? Is my Charger broken? Or is there a problem with my phone?
I really like this phone and hope it's not too major :(
