Gmail Notifs

Not getting notifications for gmail app until i open the app. I have put it in never sleeping. Anyone have any idea of what's happening?

That means your Gmail has gone self sleeping I guess. Also go in the settings apps gmail check if mobile data and background data is on in mobile data mode. 😀 just incase

Thanks🙏I am using my phone in powersaving from the past 1 week and i forgot about it.

Don't know how but I'm getting messages from Instagram and other apps

I also don't know why gmail notifications don't work while the notifications of other social media apps like insta, fb, WhatsApp etc works fine.

I think in power save mode the Gmail app won't sync. It will start sync only after it is opened. Thus mails are fetched only after the app is opened while the device is in power save mode.

Yes this could be a reason.
