I am facing serious focusing issue with M51's camera, sometimes it won't even lock focus on a still object in good lighting. And focus hunting issue is visible when changing focus points during videography.

I have also faced this with Gcam as well.

Yes, tried resetting the camera app and clearing it's data too. Nothing worked.

I think it's due to auto-focus and AI couldn't correct the focus. Try to find whether there is any option to turn off auto-focus.

Or else you may also try locking the focus manually.
[Click on the screen where you want to focus and you can find the lock icon from where you can lock the focus].

And also try to clean your camera and restart the phone.

* Clear camera lens with microfiber cloth or a cleaning wipe. Gently remove the fingerprint, dirt and dust from the camera lens.

 

* Reset camera settings
Camera > Settings > Reset settings > Reset.
