Galaxy MSamsung will unveil the first Galaxy M series 5G smartphone in India tomorrow. The Galaxy M42 5G has already been teased, and some of its features have been revealed. The relatively affordable 5G smartphone from Samsung is based on the Galaxy A42 5G, which has already been launched in various other countries. If there was ever a doubt about the Galaxy M42 5G being a rebranded Galaxy A42 5G, Google has cleared it today.
The Galaxy M42 5G has now appeared in Google’s Play Supported Devices List, revealing that it has the same device code (a42xq) as that of the Galaxy A42 5G. As per the listing, the phone features a Snapdragon 750G processor with Adreno 619 GPU, 6GB RAM, an Infinity-U display with HD+ resolution (1,339×720 pixels), and the Android 11 operating system.
