Galaxy M31 Update Situation

The Galaxy M31 is a very popular smartphone here in India, but the last update it received was in April 2021, that too with the March 2021 security patch. Other phones in the lineup like M11 and M51 have already received the April 2021 security patch.

 Why hasn't M31 been updated to the latest firmware?

My bad, but it has received the April patch.

M11 users also had to wait for 3 month without any update before getting Android 11

And the updates are not rolled out on the bases of popularity it is rolled out by the price of the phone.
