Yes m01 is eligible for one ui 4.0 based android 12 because, phone launch with android 10 out of box.

2 major updates we see:

1. one ui 3.0 based android 11
2. One ui 4.0 based android 12

M01 will get andorid 12 with One UI 4.0 update because in mid-range smartphones we see two major os updates so

M01 will get android 12 . It's last android update. after that it will get security patchs.

And there are 2 year of major updates , quarterly security patch update and after biannual update as required...
