Firmware update.

Hi, I received an update today for the Samsung Galaxy m31. Can anyone else confirm this. I'm going to defer installing it, until I'm sure it's working fine for everyone. The last update bricked my phone.

.better read one of my post which I wrote for some other user 👇actually we maximum people do a simple mistake that if any big update or security patch come then simply we download it by mobile data or through fluctuating wifi network..but it's not the actual procedure or recommended to download any os update..because a big update allaways need stable carrier and its impossible in India that you will get non fluctuating wifi or mobile data ..and android system update can't allow that ..so it can give incomplete software update by damaging software side ..then also you will be able to install that firmware but you will also welcome software holes with glitches which leads to poor battery backup, slow charging, app crush, ghost touch,poor camera performance like issues .....so if any big update or security patch come then allaways try to flash it ...thatswhy Samsung introduced smart switch apk long before that a software can be flashed which is actual and recommended procedure....if you don't know how to flash firmware then please visit Samsung service center and flash firmware from them at absolutely free of cost ...please take my words ...in future you will never suffered any of the problems in your device.....I allaways maintain that rules hence no problem in my s9 as well as old note 3 also .....I can play pubg like game in my old note3 even without any lag or device heat ....👍👍

please don't comment on issues, about which you don't have proper knowledge, update download itself will fail or stop in case of a fluctuating network, and users will have to download it again in such a case, also update will not start installing if there is any data corruption, and btw i am a software engineer and also work on android app development.

and if some issues does arise by "fluctuating network", it will only show the sheer incompetence of Samsung software development team, these issues should never occur if the software is designed properly.

mr rex ..I have proper knowledge and don't put your bogus theory in it...download software by mobile data never was recommended...first study properly about networking then talk ok..did you notice ever that Samsung developer also recommend flash firmware? I just said actual proper how to install software..at least that software engineer Knows better than you , which screenshot I have posted already...do you know non noticable software hole can occur during software update by mobile data?...bhai pahele jan thik se bhir bat karna jindegi me firmware flash to kia nehi isliye aisa bat kar raha hain...joke of the millennium...🤣🤣kisi software engineer ko bol ke dekho kabhi ki mobile data or wifi have better priorities over firmware flash...hum log bewakuf hain jo firmware flash karte hain...🤣🤣🤣 aisa hi hoga tera theory manke chalna pare to 👉and don't divert people if you don't know anything about proper software install procedure.

aur Samsung pagal hain jo ie sab de rahe hain ? solution to ek bhi de nehi pata ..upar se galat information provide karta hain forum me.

you don't even have the basic idea of the difference between "flash memory" and the process of "flashing" or "downloading" of an update into a device. all you are doing here is making fun of yourself, go and ask someone who really know, not some customer care executive.

it is safe to install, go ahead, you can use wifi or mobile data as per your convenience, no issues.
