Fingerprint sensor problem

Can someone enlighthen me why sometime my phone's fingerprint sensor doesnot work after removing the phone from my pant pocket?

Please remove all fingers and then add fingerprints
if possible reset your phone or software from service center.
Phone will work better.

Thanks for suggestion. My phone is brand new so I dont want to reset it now. I will try to remove and re register my fingerprints again.

A dust mite can affect your fingerprint scanner. so try next time after lightly cleaning your finger. You can rub your finger on your clothes, but lightly.

Thanks for the suggestion but my phone is brand new and sensor is clean. May be some bug or other issues with the sensor.
