Earphones not working

I have samsung m40 and its earphones have stopped working, though earphones are working good on other devices like my laptop and other mobile, but not on this mobile m40. Also, the phone gets charged but just earphones are not working. Can anyone help? Thanks.

Hello , The fault might be with the device port kindly try cleaning it once.

Hi, cleaning the ports didn't help, but I called customer care he asked to follow some steps and hurray! earphones are working now 👍
Steps:
1. clear app data for YouTube
2. if above didnt work, restart ur mobile in safe mode.

no need to do all this. Just visit settings and search for usb type-c and clear the storage.
