Galaxy MFew days ago I saw that some contacs are deleted from my phone. I navigated to contacts recycle bin. I found bunch of contacts in trash which i never deleted. Again after 2 days i opened recycle bin and found some more contacts deleted.
My contacts are getting deleted on their own. Is there a software bug or what? Did anyone else have this issue.
Please check your contacts trash too.

Galaxy MHi, I am facing the same problem. More than 100 of my contacts have been deleted randomly for more than a month.
It is normal to have no answer from SAMSUNG support still ???????

Galaxy MMy Gosh, I'm having the same issue here. I don't use the phone dialer often to notice this problem. But I saw a lors of my contacts got deleted. Some of my favorites too (my family contact, that's how I found out).
I went in the recycle bin, and found them, but funny (or not) part is that I found the same contact many times. Like it was deleted many days.
In total of 300 contacts got deleted (with many like 10 times).
I think there is a bug with Samsung Sync.
I'm going to uncheck the samsung contact list sync box, deleting my previous saving and wait for a fix.
We don't really need this contact list sync as google does it too.
Gosh. I'm having many issues with my S20 FE.

Galaxy MSame problem on S21
Deactivating Samsung Contact Sync did not help first.
I used my google contact on laptop, restored the ones in bin (marked "deleted on phone", then looked and merged or deleted double entries till my contacts were as ok as possible.
I then deleted all contacts on phone and did resync with google, keeping Samsung sync off.
Zero contacts in phone trash bin, everything looks about ok.
Still one thing I don't understand: friend called with new number, wanted to update to his entry (add to existing contact), but got "Cannot Update Read Only Contacts" - **bleep** read only?

Galaxy MSame issue here. I'm using S20 plus. Started after One UI 4 update. Deleted cache but nothing changed. Did factory reset. No luck. Manually checking the Recycle Bin every 2-3 days and restoring those. Just got One 4.1 update today and my phone deleted 2 contacts after update. Seriously what's the point having s**t ton of features in your phone when it can't do the basic things properly😡

Galaxy MSame to me. On Note 10 Lite, and now S22 Ultra again. All contacts have been deleted automatically. I go to Trash on Google Contacts, and recover. But, many Contacts deleted forever. That's so bad and dangerous.
