Touch and hold power off logo until you see safe mode. Click on that you will be restarted to safe mode.

It's a common issue with the Play store.
Follow these steps :-
Settings> Apps > Google Play Store > Clear cache and clear data > Restart .

And you are all set.

if you're using mobile data try to reset your APN settings and if your using wifi then do forget network and then register on it
