Camera light sensor battery drain

Getting this problem for the past 2 week, this sensor consumes particular percentage of battery  daily, but haven't had this problem  before,  any solution apart from turning off adaptive brightness?

Smart stay keep screen ON when you are looking at mobile by using front camera with help of CameraLightSensor.
Go to settings=> advance features => motion and gestures=>turn off smart stay.

Device care update was my problem. I uninstalled the update and the issue was resolved.

How did you uninstall the update. I am facing the same issue of battery drain due to this System App.

i am using samsung m30s..daily 20 to 25% is consumed by camera lightsensor, it's showing daily 16hr showing time time in baytery...how can solve that problem,i did trying off my facelock but happened.

Did you put a screenguard on it which covers the front camera?
