M series uses virtual light sensor....which means they device front camera as light sensor...that's why Battery drains...but you can avoid that by turning off adaptive brightness....You can accept my solution by just clicking 3 dot on this comment...

No. Galaxy M20 actually does have a light sensor. Refer to page 11/152 of the phone manual here.

No this is not the solution, its just a workaround.

How do I fix this, I need adaptive brightness feature.

m30s has major battery drain issue with camera light sensor
..50% battery wastage.... looks like product defect or faulty last android software update for model 30s
