Galaxy MI think you meant to say Light sensor coz there is a proximity sensor in M30s.Also AOD requires light sensor for adjusting the brightness according to surrounding light.

Galaxy MNo,you can't adjust it manually. It is adjusted automatically according to surrounding light by using your camera as light sensor.
But you can try this- Cover the front camera from a finger and then adjust the brightness to zero level. Then wait for AOD screen to show ,then remove your finger from camera.(Working on M30 Android 10)
