After updatting my phone to one ui 7 my phone battery performance is reduced...battery drained 1.5×faster than it drains in one ui 6......but in last 1 week my battery drains speed increased so much that it drop from 100 to 0% only in 5 hours of continuous use but before 1 week it nearly runs 8 hours in continuously use.....device care is also sending me notification that your phone noticed significant reduce in battery life span please contact customer service.....tell me what to do? Will i goto customer service or wait till one ui 8 will reach my phone and maybe this update fix my problem

This is also happening in my samsung galaxy m35 5g with one ui 7 where I get 11+hours of batter backup and 7+hours of bgmi gaming after one ui 7 update my battery last long to 6-7hours and gaming session become even more less

Bruh in gaming battery backup is so worst it's really reduce 1% in just 3 minutes but before one ui 7 it takes 6-7 minutes in gaming to drop 1%.....i hope both my and your phone battery got normal Like before in one ui 8..my phone is only 3 years 1 month old i don't want to buy new phone before 2026 end

Yahi problem toh mereme bhi aarha h bhai jbse one ui 7 aaya h.....power saving on krlo bro cpu limit 70% brightness 10% decrease on krdena battery life span 2 hours tk extend ho jaega

We regret to hear about your experience with our product. Please believe that this is not a usual occurrence.

Please perform the below-mentioned troubleshooting steps, these may help in resolving your concern.

Note: Charge in one go instead of charging many times as it affects the life span of battery and battery performance.

1. Perform Battery Optimization: Go to Settings > Select Device Maintenance/Device Care > Optimize > Optimize all options like Battery, Storage, and Memory.

2. Turn off Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth etc. when not in use.

3. Check device network fluctuation. Avoid usage in areas with low network/fluctuation.

4. Reduce the display brightness level or set the device to auto-brightness mode.

5. Adjust screen timeout settings: Go to Settings > Display > Screen timeout > Select the minimum screen timeout.

6. Check which application is or interface is using more battery from device care and try to update app or avoid using that app.

7. Close background running apps.

8. Turn off auto sync of e-mails, app data etc.
Open notification panel > Turn off auto sync option.

9. Update software: Go to Settings > Software update > Download and install > Check for software update > If Software update available > Download > Downloading updates > Install now
Note: Your phone will restart after the update is installed.

10. Reset the device:
IMPORTANT:
• Kindly create data backup of your device via SMART switch mobile application or http://www.samsung.com/in/support/smartswitch pc suite.
• Remember google password before resetting the device because it is required during initial setup.
• If you do not remember it, then reset (Forgot password) your google account.
• For this:
• Open Gmail (https://accounts.google.com/servicelogin) > forgot password >Select ""try another way"" > Next > Enter a new password > Next

Please follow the below steps to reset the device:
Settings > General Management > Reset > Temporary cloud backup or External storage backup > tab on Factory data reset (This will erase all data, including files and downloaded apps)
