BATTERY DRAIN samsung m51

Today samsung released ONEUI 2.5 update for samsung m51 , does it cause any battery drain issue.

Please let me know if anyone facing any problem so I can install latest software.

yeah i too have the issue.. it feels like I'm using a 3500 battery

No after 2.5 update today I tested battery and 14hr (screen on time), no battery issue

some user complaining
i suggest you to after update perform these settings

A. Wipe Cache Partition.
Steps to perform.
1) Turn off the device.
2) Press and hold the Volume Up key and the spower button.
3) When the Android logo displays, release all keys.
4) Press the Volume down key to navigate and select "Wipe cache partition".
5) Press Power key to select. When the wipe cache partition is complete, Select Reboot System.
6) Press the Power key to restart the device.

B. Reset App Preferences.
Settings >Apps> Tap on Top Right 3Dots and select Reset App preferences.

what is the usage of doing this? any particular reason behind this? if yes, please let me know what kind of benefits will I get.

some times when you update your phone there are some bugs which are cause due to cache files , cache files basically contains junks and system log files. its good to remove that files after update but its not actually necessary unless and until your device is working well but I still prefer to do so.

No its not beyond samsung policy and your phone would be under warranty.

settings>location>location history>turnoff google location history.. if its turn on..
it will defenatly improves battery drains..
apart from this ehsank covers almost evrything..
