No i dont use this setting, I keep it in medium power saving usually. By turning on this setting is changes based on usage and it goes to optimized which drains my battery a lot. If you like to keep in optimized then it's useful for you as it will switch to medium power savings when less power hungry apps are used to provide little more battery juice.

thanks for sharing your experience, actually I was trying to use my smartphone under various power saving categories, hope it'll give good results.
