J7 Max will get security patches when it's necessary so you have to wait

but this is wrong na all devices get pie updates but j7max always late to get any latest updates

but J7 Max can't handle pie (rumours) that's why samsung not give pie to it till now

J7 Max reached END OF LIFE , it will never get any update unless any critical issue rise in android
