memory card

When i insert memory card in my device it is not showing it.It shows memory card not inserted . Please give solution

Remove and then insert again

Is it a brand new memory card?

If it's a brand new memory card ,then the problem might be in the slot maybe it is loose

There could be a number of reasons, hence a number of possible solutions-
1. Wipe the sd card chip area with a clean cloth and insert
2. Go to Storage > Unmount > Remount
3. If the above 2 don't work, the sd card might be corrupted, connect it to a pc and go to it's Properties > Tools > Check for Errors. If errors found, click on Repair. Then insert in phone.

Not showing means card not properly inserted or not in correct file system, format it in PC in FAT32 and insert.
