No bro,It possibley won't get pie update. Coz. the processor company has not given required updates for processor. And if Samsung decides to update, R &D Department has to work a lot on that. Even if pie update comes, processor won't be able to handle it due to different algorithms and processing methods.
i know this is the problem for this device,and Samsung should work on pie update,, all j7 max users are waiting for update bcz j7 max is valuable device. j5 prime and j7 duo are devices which are running on pie and they are less valuable than j7 max. Samsung is making mistakes that it not confirming whether it will get or not,
Please be informed as of now there is no exact confirmation is available for the update launch date. Any update regarding this will be notified in the Samsung Members app under the notice section.

1) Settings > Software Update >Download and install.
