Its fully quarter month to get update in Galaxy J7 Nxt since last update was on 1 may 2019 it is close enough to get update for month of September soon or close let's see what Samsung is up too...

Are they gonna provide updates for this device?

Yes I think so. Security patch updates will roll out for sure in samsung j7 nxt devices.
