RIP samsung and J7 pro

no updates. samsung is giving updates to j2 2016 j7 prime j7 max on5 pro etc but not its high end mid range phone viz j7 pro. I am going to buy a new phone like vivo etc

If you want timed updates then it's better for you to switch to Motorola or OnePlus or Nokia as because these companies provide near to stock Android on their phones so it's easier for the companies to push out the updates to their respective devices as soon as Google releases it.
Even the budget range Nokia 3 is about to receive the update to Android 8.0 Oreo in this April but the midrange Galaxy J7 Pro is still uncertain whether it will receive the update or not. Samsung is useless. Never go for a Samsung product again.
