Proximity sensor J7max

Hi, can anyone tell me how to switch on proximity sensor in J7max. Since it suddenly stopped working.

Go to phone dialer>type *#0*#>Select sensor

Thanks for part of Samsung community. Would like to tell you this settings is by default in Nougat update for proximity sensor so i would like to tell you kindly go to settings>>apps>>Three dots>>reset app preferences>>restart the device and then check.
