Phone-app has become very slow in J7 max.

The dialer app/phone app of the Galaxy J7 Max (released in 2017) has become very slow. It's behaving as if it is loading a high fps game.

The basic function of a phone is to make calls, if it fails at doing that, then it shouldn't be made.

This is a very disappointing service from the side of Samsung. The customer care executives are giving useless advice while the problem is in the software. And I wonder why Samsung is not giving an update and solving this issue.

The issue has become so bad that if you call someone accidentally, you can't cut the call before the other person takes it and starts talking.

It's very disappointing and pathetic.

Try using your device in safe mode for some time and check if it still lags.

It's not about your Phone app its your device which has given up go for new device or else make yourself comfortable with it
