because of out dated hardware pie will be not computable with older hardwares so thats the reason Samsung wont provide updates, even if they give it will be slow and lagy so thats the reason

There's no way that j will get the pie update,, since the whole J series itself is obsolete,, plz try to upgrade your device instead of waiting for the update,
