Samsung is going to release Android 11 for its devices and you are expecting Android 9 on DISCONTINUED J series phone 2 years after the release of Android 9

Yes. Samsung Galaxy J7 Max is allways getting it's latest software update comparatively later to all other J series. Don't you know?  That Oreo update came much later comparison to all other J series devices in J7 Max.
