My j7 max hangs a lot after the dec security update

After the recent security update im facing a lot stutters and it hangs lot even when doing basic tasks like opening contacts etc. Tried closing all the recent apps and restarting the phone still no difference. Has anyone else has this issue?

Please perform the following step to resolve the issue:

1- Make sure that 20% internal storage is free for which clear the RAM memory and storage of device (Settings > Device care > Memory/Storage > Clean Now).
