Samsung made a official pie update list and yet you are asking for any news regarding pie update for j7 max. J7 Max may be added in pie update list in future or may be not, anyhow you'll have to accept it.

If a 10k(j4+) phone running on snapdragon 450 is eligible for Pie then 18k (J7 Max) running on a 14nm processor i.e. Mediatek P20 is also eligible for the same update.
