I'm using J7 Pro since 4 months,.. All latest updates installed, last update I got, was a 421 MB OTA. All apps are up to date.... And having no issues with touch, no lag, super performance.... Excellent 2 days battery backup.

I think you've some hardware issue. The Nougat OS is very smooth... On both of my J series phone, J7 2016 and J7 Pro (2017)...
