J2 2018, no respect for low range phone by samsung?

I have J2 2018 since I bought, it is running under same software since started that is android 7.1.1.

Even not security update received it is still on October 2019.

It is quite good specs like snapdragon chipset, amoled screen, etc.

When i bought, its mentioned as upgradable to next level.

I contacted here and via WhatsApp  customer care , their reply is quite interesting they replied they have no idea about j2 2018.

Is it good? After all this is also a samsung phone.

samsung only provides update till 2 years from the device launch date
