Yes... I'm also facing on my Samsung Galaxy On Max

Go to Apps > Google > Storage > reset data and cache (repeat the same for Gmail as well).

Go to Settings > Google > Search > Voice > configure Google Assistant.

This would work in most cases.

Note: Google Assist will not unlock Samsung mobiles but will only work if your mobile is unlocked (This is the limitation).

Which Handset are you using and what's your Android version?

I'm using J7 Pro, Nougat. Even though I configured Trusted Voice I'm unable to unlock my mobile. This is official limitation I believe.

If there's any work around please share it.
