If you forget lockscreen pin/password/pattern then there is no need to hard reset your phone. You can unlock the phone as follows:
1. Go to any other device and google using search items < samsung findmymobile > 2. Click on first site listed which is samsungs find my mobile site. 3. Login using samsung account. 4. You device will be searched and once found you will be presented with various options like unlock,ring,erase etc. 5. Select unlock. This will clear lock screen settings,password,pin,pattern and delete any stored fingerprints. I have myself tried it on my j7pro. It really works. The only condition is that you must be logged on your samsung account in the mobile which is to be unlocked.
