Device screen repaired but withheld by service centre

I purchased galaxy j7 2016 last September under never mind offer and last week gave my phone for screen replacement. I received the message that phone has been repaired but was told by the service centre that I have to wait 10-15 days more as they have to wait for approval from SAMSUNG to release my mobile. I want to know the reason behind this and any way to speed up the process? Because it is not fair if you are reducing price for screen repair but making the customer wait for long period in the name of policy.
