may be you selected always open with some player..
you can reset it by going
settings -> apps -> three dots on the top -> reset app preferences..

Thanks for being with Samsung and sharing your concern. We would like to inform you that please follow the steps below to select the video player every time :
Navigate to apps >> Settings >> Apps >> Three dots >> Reset app preferences >> Restart the device >> Play Video Select Video player >> Tap on just once. Be sure to hit ♡ when you find an answer that works for you.

Settings >> Apps >> click Mx player >> click set as dafault >> clear defaults.....
