Your device may not have been optimized with your current operating system because the applications installed before the update are optimized with the previous operating system. If the developers of your installed applications also publish optimized versions of the current operating system, you can achieve your old battery performance. Setting your phone back to its factory default settings often provides a solution. We recommend that you check for updates to your installed applications through Google Play after the Android Operating System update.
