To me dark mode.... looks more fierce and also reduces eye strain in the dark from bright colours

Dark, less strain on the eyes, I believe it is slightly better on the battery too(subjective) but it's better on the screen at preventing burn in

I prefer both depending on the time of day. During the day I use light mode. At certain time of day I have it scheduled to switch to dark mode.
