I’ve been seeing news everywhere that Samsung is planning to discontinue its own Messages app in July 2026 and force us to use Google Messages. Honestly, is this a joke?I have been a loyal Samsung user since 2013, but this news is really frustrating. I personally hate the Google Messages app and much prefer the clean look and feel of Samsung’s own app.Please, someone from the official team clear this up. We love the Samsung ecosystem because of these native apps. If this change actually happens, I’ll seriously have to think about switching to iPhone, even though I’ve stayed with Samsung for over a decade.
