Did you restart as they say? Clean the fingerprint sensor ,see for oily anything disturbing the sensor Try factory reset witha backup (sens you photos and other videos.... in toa sd or computer) See for hard damages in back of your device Don't worry so much you still have your warranty! So after these cerfew situations let Samsung SL deal with the problem!🙂 Hope you find a recovery.
Hi, this could be due to several reasons. Did u put on a new tempered glass? If yes, u may have to delete ur finger prints and re register them. Either way that's a good starting point. 2nd goto Settings --> Display --> Touch sensitivity and switch it on. It improves the sensitivity if u r using a tempered glass. Finally if all doesn't work, check if u can register new finger prints. If u r able to do so, the sensor is working fine. Last try factory restart after full back up of ur important data. If all doesn't help take the phone to the Samsung dealer to see if u can have it assessed.
